Acterra is a 50-year old environmental organization based in Silicon Valley, dedicated to bringing people together to create local solutions for a healthy planet. Acterra focuses its efforts on the most urgent issue of our time: climate change. They provide educational outreach to promote electrification, energy efficiency and renewable energy; transportation innovation; food sustainability; resilience and adaptation in the context of empowering underserved communities; and sustainable business practices in our region.

Palo Alto Student Climate Coalition

‭PASCC is a grassroots organization founded and run by high school and middle school youth advocates committed to‬ combating climate change and advocating for environmental justice. PASCC equips students with the‬ tools to engage in direct advocacy with local officials to push for tangible climate policy solutions. PASCC organizes educational events, gives climate literacy presentations, hosts climate demonstrations, and much more.
