What is SunShares?
Bay Area SunShares​ is a program of Act Now Bay Area and makes it simple and more affordable for Bay Area residents to add solar and/or battery storage. It works by pooling the buying power and negotiating discounts with pre-vetted installers who pass the savings on to you. This allows all of us to accelerate clean energy adoption and build regional resilience to climate change.

Whether you are concerned about power failures, want to own your own electricity supply, or take advantage of available rebates, if you've been thinking about adding solar or battery back-up, now's the time!
Discounts are available for a limited time in the fall of each year. The 2025 campaign launches on September 15th!
