WHY WE'RE HERE
We believe that this is the decisive decade for bold progress in cutting greenhouse gas emissions in the sectors that matter most: energy, transportation, and buildings.
We believe that everyone has a part to play so we focus on answering the question, "I'm just one person, what can I possibly do to make a difference?". ​

OUR VISION
We see a future where concerted community action, strategic business leadership, and proactive government engagement across the entire San Francisco Bay Area have achieved essential climate goals that help slow and begin to reverse climate disruption, ensuring a healthier, more resilient, and economically sustainable region.
OUR MISSION
Act Now Bay Area is committed to turning "climate concern" into meaningful climate action, actions that reduce the region's reliance on fossil fuels and accelerates the transition to 100% renewable electricity in our energy, all of our buildings, and our transportation. Those three sectors are the source of the most pollution and toxic gases in the Bay Area.

Act Now Bay Area connects the general public, small- to medium-sized businesses, and local governments to proven resources and curated climate solutions. We engage, inspire, and educate through strategic social media, a dynamic website, regional programs, and with trusted outreach partners to help everyone dramatically reduce the Bay Area's greenhouse gas emissions.

We promote solutions that are politically and technologically feasible, are cost-

businesses, and policy-makers.
